Meeting on RE Business IDEA Market-Place

During a meeting organised by Renewable Energy Confederation of Nepal (RECON) on RE Business Idea Market-Place to organise in near future, the experts and professionals pointed out the confederation should take up this matter keeping in view betterment of the member companies / firms of the member associations to rescue from financial, managerial, technical, policy hurdles. Likewise, a forum should be created with view to meet Idea Generators and Investors or Entrepreneurs.

The meeting also advised RECON to organise a workshop of private sector companies to understand their 'real needs' and possible way outs.

Likewise, IDEA Call may be organised to collect different but lucrative or business-able concepts from Idea Generators, the experts opined.

This initiation will also have to address the need of technical, managerial, financial knowledge required for Rural Municipalities and Municipalities collaborating with NARMIN and MuAN separately. Similarly, supports to extent to MSCIs should be carried out collaborating with FNCSI.

RECON's internal resources and support from leading institutions may be sought for this plan to successful implementation.

Idea Market Place is simply an event endured only a few days. But the need of the sector bears a characteristics demand service in any season, RECON will have to operate a 'dedicated cell' to render service to the clients and service seekers - Idea Generators, Investors, Entrepreneurs, Private sector companies, NARMIN, MuAN, MSCIs, FBIs, Government and Non-Government Institutions, I/NGOs and so on was noted in the event.

The experts and participants opined that the private sector engaged in RE promotion mostly faced of financial problems. So that easy and better financial arrangement to be expedited may bring desired working environment.
