RECON – SIMI Stoves collaboration in ethanol fueled stoves

RECON had organized meetings with relevant private sector, entrepreneurs and professionals to demonstrate and discuss on possibilities. During the meetings, the team Simi Stove Pvt. Ltd. demonstrated the stove and fuel (ethanol gel) as well as discussed on possible collaboration Government of Nepal as well as with relevant private sector to promote the stove with new concept with wider benefits.

Simi Stove Pvt. Ltd. also had shown interest in field test in Nepal in one or a few more selected villages. The proposed test will produce viability of the ethanol fueled cook stove for the households of any geographical condition and affordability of the users. In the long run the company may collaborate with local private party in establishing production unit in Nepal.
